I cured myself from Ulcerative Colitis with Ayurveda. This is the only reason my practice exists. For those of you who don’t know, Ulcerative Colitis is a debilitating and humiliating digestive disease that western medicine claims can only be managed, not cured. I tried several modalities to heal from this disease, and was seeing little to no improvement.

In 2008 I attended a lecture at a bookshop and met the woman who would change my life forever, Shunya Pratichi Mathur– traditionally trained teacher and master healer of classical Ayurveda from India and Founder of Vedika Global.  A two month self healing course turned into a deep fascination with the science of Ayurveda and a three year initiation into her highly respected lineage. I experienced first hand the effectiveness and transformational power of this 5000 year old system of healing and to my amazement watched my body heal from my so called incurable disease. I’ve always loved people, and had a deep desire for them to feel happy, healthy and worthy of love. Using Ayurveda, Yoga, and Vedanta as my guides, I have found I can help people get there.
Qualifications:

My specialty is working with adults and children who suffer from digestive issues. 
I offer a free 20 minute phone consultation prior to the initial consultation to get an idea of what the client is seeking to gain from working with me, and discuss what to expect from working with me as their practitioner. My rates are $125 for the initial consultation (90 minutes)  and $75 for follow up appointments (50 minutes). I also teach private and group cooking classes as well. I am available for distance consultations via skype.
