A daily routine establishes harmony in the doshas, the mind-body energies composed of the 5 elements (earth, air, fire, water and ether). Keeping these elements or doshas in harmony establishes good health and forms a strong foundation for spiritual practices like yoga.
Yogis keep the body clean and perform daily practices to achieve optimal health, enhance awareness and create a calm, sattvic or peaceful mind.
This daily shave routine and daily schedule was shared by Dr. Bill Dean, MD, urologist, yogi and Ayurvedic practitioner.
