Enjoy this delicious preparation with a main meal or take it with you for a healthy snack in the late afternoon. Be sure to give it plenty of time to digest after eating!

Preparation time: 20-25 minutes (mostly unattended)
Serves: 1-2

  • 1 large sweet potato
  • drizzle of ghee
  • spices such as: cumin, coriander, cardamom, cinnamon
  • arame ~ sea vegetable ~ (soaked 15 minutes in water)

Slice sweet potato into 1/2 inch or thinner slices.
Lay on a glass or stainless steel baking dish.
Sprinkle on spices.
Drizzle ghee over each piece.
Spread small amount of arame on each piece of sweet potato.

(Add a little of the soak water to the pan if you like a more moist potato.)

Bake in the oven at 350F for 15-20 minutes or until potatoes stab easily.

Remove, cool, and eat.
